GEELY MOTORS (Passenger Cars): Geely Holding Group made its debut as a company when Mr. Li Shufu (Chairman of the Board of Directors) started the manufacture of components for refrigerators in November 1986. Shortly thereafter in April 1994, Geely embarked on the path of manufacture of motorcycles. Tasting success in the motorcycle industry, Geely set its sights in the highly skilled business of passenger cars manufacture and the first Geely car was launched in August 1998.
